Student E-poster Competition

Student poster abstracts are now being accepted. Online Submissions

Eligibility

The Student Poster Competition is only for those enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program. This will be verified by your academic advisor.

If you are a postdoc or professional and would like to present a poster, please submit to the General E-poster Session.

Dates and Location

Student posters will be displayed on 80-inch LCD monitor in the e-poster pods, as well as on smaller touch screens closer to the scientific symposia rooms on either Saturday (February 17) or Sunday (February 18) during the 2018 Annual Meeting.

Presenters will be notified of the exact time and location of their oral presentation ahead of the meeting.

Getting Prepared

Your poster abstract must be submitted before October 19, 2017, but you do not need to have your poster completed to submit an abstract. Accepted poster presenters will receive instructions on how to prepare and submit the PDF of their e-poster.

Attending the Meeting

Poster presenters must attend the meeting; student rates will be available when registration opens in August. Presenters may also volunteer as a student session aide to receive free registration.

Session aide registration will be available in October.

Prizes

Each poster category will have a winner and an honorable mention. Winners receive a cash prize; their names and poster title printed in Science; a recognition certificate; and a year-long subscription to Science (total prize value is up to $565). Honorable mentions have their names and poster title printed in Science and receive a certificate.
