Student E-poster Competition

Poster abstract submission site opens on July, 2018.

Eligibility

The Student E-poster Competition is only for those enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program. This will be verified by your academic advisor.

If you are a postdoc or professional and would like to present a poster, please submit to the General E-poster Session.

Dates and Location

Student posters will be displayed in the Exhibit Hall on either Saturday (February 16) or Sunday (February 17) during the 2019 Annual Meeting.

Getting Prepared

Your poster abstract must be submitted before October 18, 2018, but you do not need to have your poster completed to submit an abstract. Just have your poster ready with you at the 2019 AAAS Annual Meeting in Washington DC.

Attending the Meeting

Poster presenters must attend the meeting; student rates will be available when registration opens in August. Presenters may also volunteer as a student session aide to receive free registration. Session aide registration will be available in October.

Prizes

Each poster category will have a winner and an honorable mention. Winners receive a cash prize; their names and poster title printed in Science; a recognition certificate; and a year-long subscription to Science (total prize value is up to $565). Honorable mentions have their names and poster title printed in Science and receive a certificate.

Registration for the 2019 AAAS Annual Meeting will be available in August.
