Speed-Pitching Your Science
Organized by Science Media Awards & Summit
Don’t miss this chance to present your science video ideas one-to-one to some of the most sought-after production executives from around the globe. From VR/360 to theatrical/commercial and broadcast release as well as digital distribution, they are here looking for new projects and new talent!
The rules are simple: you have eight minutes to share your idea, with a one-pager in hand if you have it, then move on to the next person.
Sunday, February 18 – Pre-registration is strongly encouraged for a 10-minute timeslot during one of these sessions. Sign-up is available here.

1:30 p.m. – 3:00 p.m.
3:30 p.m. – 5:00 p.m.

Science Film Showcase
Presented by the Arconic Foundation
Meet the scientists and filmmakers behind five award-winning science films! The event features clips from each film, conversation with the filmmakers and scientists, and audience questions. This event will be held at the Hilton Austin on Wednesday, February 14 from 7:00 p.m.– 9:00 p.m.

Watch award winning science videos in the Screening Room. Presented films range from shorts to feature lengths, and highlight different facets of scientific inquiry. Three videos will be played on repeating loops from Friday through Sunday, 10:00 a.m.– 4:30 p.m. at the Austin Convention Center. The list of films will be posted in January.
