Live Broadcast, February 8-11, 2021

Online meetings are different than face to face meeting, so we have created a format aimed to making more of the program available to attendees.

Starting in January 18, the spotlight videos will be released to attendees registered for the scientific sessions. Each Scientific Session will be comprised of 3 spotlight videos, focusing on each speakers work.

Live Sessions will convene virtually February 8-11, where all the speakers who are part of that session will join together to discuss how their individual work interacts (or not) with the other’s work.

Live Sessions at the 2021 AAAS Annual Meeting:
Available to Attendees: Live broadcast scheduled during February 8-11 convening .
Purpose: Focus on how speakers’ work relates to each other’s findings and relay any updates since the recording. Respondents can ask their own and audience questions during this session.
Length: 45 minutes maximum length.
Format: All panelists (1 moderator, 3 speakers, and respondents) join the live discussion session.

The video below further outlines the details about session format updates for the virtual 2021 AAAS Annual Meeting.
