Student Session Aides
Session Aides receive free registration in exchange for 8 hours of volunteering, and also receive free online access to the journal Science if they volunteer 16 hours. Student Session Aides work closely with AAAS and are an integral part of the Annual Meeting.
Undergraduate and graduate students volunteer at sessions of their own choosing and will meet and listen to leading scientists, Nobel Laureates, popular authors, government leaders, journalists, and symposia speakers.
To learn more about the session aide experience, read blog posts from previous volunteers at the AAAS Annual Meeting.
To qualify to be a session aide, you must currently be registered in an undergraduate, graduate, or doctoral degree program. Advisers must certify eligibility. Post-docs and professionals are not eligible.
