2024 AAAS Annual Meeting Registration

IMPORTANT: You must complete your registration online ahead of arrival. Walk-in registration will not be available. Online registration will be open as late as the last day of the meeting. Discounted registration rates are available through January 25, 2024. Standard registration rates will be in effect thereafter. Meeting badges are required to attend all sessions and events.

Qualify for discounted registration to the Annual Meeting by becoming a AAAS Member now.

REGISTRATION OPTIONS

The online program will note which registration option is required to attend a session or event.

Deluxe Access

Includes full access to scientific sessions public events and any special events that don’t require additional fees. See below for fees.

Basic Access

Includes public events (the plenary room and the Expo) and special events that don’t require additional fees. The Basic Access registration is FREE.

NOTE ABOUT DISCOUNTED REGISTRATION RATES

• AAAS Member rates are for members in good standing and those who used the email address associated with their AAAS membership.
• Postdocs are required to provide their institution and chair or principal investigator’s name.
• Students are required to indicate their institution’s name and graduation year.
• Retired Professionals are required to indicate their retirement year and institution.
If you are ineligible for discount, the prevailing rates will apply.

GROUP RATES

For groups of 10 or more, please contact AAAS Meetings via e-mail at meetings@aaas.org. The rate per person will be the advance member rate for the group type you are registering.

NEWSROOM REGISTRATION

Interested in interviewing leading experts from a wide range of meeting sessions, as well as policymakers and funders?  The AAAS Annual Meeting provides an array of opportunities to news reporters and career science communicators who, with appropriate credentials, are eligible for complimentary meeting registration. Apply for your credentials here and insert the word PRESS24 when asked to apply a code to access the Newsroom registration portal.

IMPORTANT: All press credential processing will be conducted via the online registration (no walk-in option). The application site will be open until the last day of the meeting. See more information here .

AAAS CANCELLATION POLICY

Cancellation requests must be received in writing at meetings@aaas.org. For email requests dated:
Until January 25, 2024: Cancellations with full refund minus a $50 processing fee is available.
After January 25, 2024: No refund requests will be honored.

AAAS reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the meeting due to unforeseen circumstances. Registrants will be notified.

ON SITE IN DENVER (starting February 15, 2024)

Badges are required to attend all sessions and events.

Online registration is open and will remain open throughout the meeting. Badge printing will be available onsite at the Colorado Convention Center.

BADGE REPRINTING POLICY

The fee to reprint a badge will be applied at the standard rate of the original registration type.
